Posters that summarize the 2024 case studies are shown below. These will be added as soon as they are completed.

Case studies have been carried out by participant groups from the three partner universities in Ukraine. The case studies aim to:

1. Illustrate the application of conceptual modeling for project scoping.

2. To identify the "system" characteristics and dynamics relative to the issues considered within the case study.

3. To initiate the framework necessary to develop each case study as a research and/or applied project. The project-scoping models are considered a first-stage analysis that can later be expanded.

In addition to the understanding of the cases themselves, the conceptual modeling approach has several objectives: 1) to make the communication between the partners and stakeholder networks more transparent, inclusive and effective, 2) to structure complex issues by using a holistic system perspective, 3) to plan sequential project development with relevant methods and realistic goals, 4) to maintain a critical evaluation of results, 5) to allow progressive improvements regarding both hypotheses and conclusions, 6) to generate proposals for new projects or more detailed work with the actual case study, and 7) to help project initiation itself.
