The main objective for AI assistance in project scoping is to provide diversity and depth to strengthen the case-study groups. Participant groups with multidisciplinary and multisectoral backgrounds provide a holistic perspective, but the this is seldom fully achieved. An "AI participant" can help if the risks and benefits are kept in focus.
One activity to follow-up on this concern will be to model the AI-Human "system" for project scoping as a case study itself, using the same sequential structure that is applied to the other case studies (figure below). Since our limited IT experience is recognized, the work and results are experimental. One advantage in this is that our empirical observations are more easily separated from a possible theoretical bias.
